Very unusual, but beautiful identity design by Jason Little
The Danish String Quartet is a 4 member violin band from Denmark, they have participated in competitions and made some recordings as well.
I don’t really want to talk about their music as much as i want about their identity, it is absoluty AMAZING, i mean to succefully turn something complicated into something so simple is what i call creativity. A great concept and excelent execution from art director Maibritt Lind Hansen , programmer Bjarne Christensen and photographer Caroline Bittencourt

Very clean and elegant branding work for Schjoedt Law Firm designed by Mission Design an Oslo based agency.

A mix between serif and sans-serif typography gives Lunawood a very strong and unique identity, made by BOND a creative agency focused on branding and design based in hilsinki finland.

Amazing use of materials in this branding by Eskimo a design studio based in Murmansk, Russia for online jeans store Denim Pavilion

When i first saw the new microsoft logo, i didn’t like it, i thought it was lazy, too simple and too safe, but after a while i came to a realisation that this logo is very appropriate for microsoft image and their products. You can see that their product logos (window 8, window phone, office, surface.. ) and the new logo actually work together very well. Here is the video animation of the logo.
According to microsoft, the symbol’s squares represents the diverse portfolio of the products, but one thing i noticed in the video is that every square represented some product ( the green square for xbox, the blue one for windows and the orange one for Office ) except for the yellow one, it could represent a new product microsoft is realesing. i’d love to hear your thoughts of this logo
